You can do as much or as little in this career as you want. The dance industry needs all levels of dance instructors. Variations range from:
- the Bronze (beginning level) instructor who mainly teaches beginning students to social dance

- the Gold (the highest level) instructor who even teaches other dance professionals and participates in competitions.
And everything in between.
Some will make serious, lucrative careers, some will go on to compete. Some students in this program will go on to teach just part time or just greatly improve their dancing.
